A New World of Cacao Love

We use specialty single-estate cacaos from our family's farm in El Salvador and other small growers across Central America, and we craft it into delicious ceremonial cacao, cacao nibs and chocolates, always respecting the traceability, authenticity, and personality of each cacao!

Why VAICACAO?

We are Elisa and JuanRa, and we love the magical taste and properties of real cacao and chocolate! 

We believe cacao and chocolate should be traceable, like coffee or wine, so we indicate on our product labels which farm the cacao came from.

We choose cacao grown on sustainable family farms like ours, Finca Cuyancùa, in El Salvador, where JuanRa is from, and also select cacao grown on other Earth-friendly small farms throughout Central America, where we have built meaningful relationships with other growers while working on projects across the region.

After the cacao is harvested, fermented, and dried, we transform it into healthful crunchy cacao nibs, rich ceremonial cacao, and artisanal bean-to-bar chocolates, at our small craft chocolate manufactory in Sardinia, Italy, where Elisa is from

Our products are always minimally-processed, as well as dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and free of other additives, to help you be free to live a healthy lifestyle!
