Over the past few years, VAICACAO has grown into something very clear to us.
This is not a product fromA commodity , meant to be expedited, hoarded, or consumed carelessly. It is cocoa created to be used regularly, with intention, and with care.
In cups, bites, rituals, and small daily moments. As our work has taken shape, we've chosen to align our prices with how we actually produce: in small batches, at a sustainable pace, without shortcuts or pressure to grow beyond what feels right. This update isn't about growth at all costs. It's about continuity.
What remains unchanged
What doesn’t change is what really matters to us:– Direct relationships with specialty cocoa plantations throughout Mesoamerica;
–> Cacao grown sustainably in small-scale regenerative agroforestry systems, offering a unique collection of experiences; –> Small batch production, made with a delicate and conscious artisanal approach by us and not by third parties; –> No standardization, no industrial shortcuts; –> Cocoa designed for intentional and repeated use. Every ingot, every bar, every batch is and will always be made with the same artisanal care we do.
What changes
What's changing is that we're clarifying the value of this work. We're aligning prices with a production rate we can sustain over the long term; a pace that allows us to remain independent, intentional, and present at every stage of the process. This means less compromise, not more.
VAICACAO as a practice
When we talk about ceremonial cacao, we don't mean something rare or untouchable. We mean cocoa created to support intentional and continuous use, not occasional indulgence. When we talk about functional chocolate, we don't mean optimized or engineered products. We mean cocoa that works in real life: in daily rituals, shared moments, and long-term well-being. VAICACAO isn't designed to impress just once. It is designed to accompany you over time, as part of a conscious and healthy lifestyle.

VAICACAO was also born in Sardinia, a land known for its longevity, abundant nature, and vast, unspoiled landscapes. This environment profoundly influences our way of working: slower, more grounded, and connected to the natural rhythms of things. We believe that where something is made matters as much as how it's made. Our commitment: We update prices once a year and then keep them stable. This allows us to focus on craftsmanship rather than constant adjustments. and to continue this work with clarity, care, and respect for cocoa, for the people behind it, and for the community that chooses it.
